What the job involves
Use your advanced knowledge of mixed signal design to develop and integrate high speed interfaces and analog circuits for SECQAI’s next-generation SoCs
Collaborate with IP providers for the deployment of third-party blocks into the design
Define circuit requirements and drive the design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (e.g. software, CPU, verification, R&D, security, etc.) to optimize your designs
Work with product test teams for post-silicon verification, bring-up, debug, and production support
Contribute to roadmap planning, design reviews, and silicon bring-up
Write detailed technical documentation; review technical documentation for peers and other engineers.
This is a Hybrid role, with a mixture of working from SECQAI’s office in London or Bristol, and at home
We know how important it is to build in a customer-centric way, so you may be asked to travel to meet SECQAI’s customers and partners in person
Maintaining the highest standards of integrity: you’ll protect SECQAI’s operations and that of our clients by maintaining confidentiality at all times
Who you are
Required:
You have a B.Eng., M.Eng. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
You have 9+ years of relevant Mixed Signal architecture design and implementation experience in advanced technology nodes
You have an expert understanding of Signals and low-node systems
You are a power user of industry-standard design tools from leading providers (e.g. Matlab, Cadence, Synopsys, OpenRoad), across every stage of the design flow
You have led a team of engineers
You’re inquisitive and a self-starter. You love learning, solving problems outside of your comfort zone, starting new things and taking them through to production, all the while learning from your mistakes
You enjoy collaborating with and supporting a wide range of peers and mentors
You set a high bar for your own work (both how it works, and how it looks)
Desirable
You have experience working with RISC-V & CHERI ISAs
You have experience collaborating with photonics engineers on integrated photonics design
You have functional safety and security knowledge
You have taken multiple designs from conceptualisation through to tape-out
You’re interested in building secure systems and platforms, and have knowledge of relevant security standards
