What the job involves

• Use your advanced knowledge of embedded software design to drive SECQAI’s next-generation hardware platform bring-up, with a focus on the embedded Linux platform in CHERI-enabled devices

• Drive full product lifecycle development, from hardware bring-up to production deployment

• Drive roadmap planning, feature prioritisation, back log management, defect fixing and design reviews

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (e.g. software, SOC, verification, R&D, security, etc.) to optimize your designs

• Write detailed technical documentation; reviews technical documentation for peers and other engineers.

• This is Hybrid role, with a mixture of working from SECQAI’s office in Bengaluru and at home

• We know how important it is to build in a customer-centric way, so you may be asked to travel to meet SECQAI’s customers and partners in person

• Maintaining the highest standards of integrity: you’ll protect SECQAI’s operations and that of our clients by maintaining confidentiality at all times

Who you are

Required:

• You have a B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

• You have 9+ years of relevant embedded software experience

• You have experience implementing at least two of the following in an embedded environment: low level drivers, HAL, Secure Bootloaders and/or Crypto

• You have led a team of engineers

• You’re inquisitive and a self-starter. You love learning, solving problems outside of your comfort zone, starting new things and taking them through to production, all the while learning from your mistakes

• You enjoy collaborating with and supporting a wide range of peers and mentors

• You set a high bar for your own work (both how it works, and how it looks)

Desirable

• You have experience working with RISC-V & CHERI ISAs

• You’re interested in building secure systems and platforms, and have knowledge of relevant security standards
